In order to support these efforts we are expanding our Inclusion and Diversity team! The newly created Senior Manager, Inclusion and Diversity role will assist in the development and implementation of companywide strategies and programs in support of Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) efforts across different areas of the organization. The Senior Manager reports to and partners with the Assistant Vice President I&D to assess organizational needs, understand key partners, and develop sustainable I&D solutions. The role works in a highly matrixed environment which requires the capacity to influence and partner across all of our brands and business units. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert and strategic I&D direction, coaching and counsel to business and HR partners to ensure achievement of business objectives and I&D initiatives
  • Partner with I&D AVP to establish TJX I&D program goals, and help craft and develop programs that will drive progress against established metrics
  • Direct I&D activities across portfolio of client groups to support overall organizational goals
  • Advise key leaders in HR to integrate I&D across organizational processes and practices
  • Serve as subject matter expert with Talent Acquisition on diversity sourcing, attraction, and engagement strategies
  • Analyze and present trends in the area of I&D, stay abreast of best practices, and benchmark leading companies and programs
  • Manage measurement and reporting to communicate success and drive improvements
  • Partner with Corporate Communications (external & internal) and I&D AVP to develop communication strategies and deliverables for TJX's I&D journey Additional Responsibilities:
    • Deliver training material or oversee the work of internal or external meeting facilitators
    • Share vision with the organization for improving inclusive practices
    • Work collaboratively with I&D team and provide input on programming and initiatives
    • Lead temporary/contract Associates in support of I&D programs
    • Conduct needs assessments to craft I&D interventions
    • Provide development, administration and analysis of I&D related surveys and focus groups
    • Deliver feedback on I&D related analysis to teams as requested
    • Cultivate relationships with external vendors as required to deliver I&D solutions to the business
    • Support other projects as required Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
      • 7+ years of experience implementing I&D initiatives
      • Subject matter expertise in Inclusion, equity and diversity best practices, trends and legal requirements
      • Demonstrated skill building positive relationships, engaging, and managing partners at all levels within a matrix organization
      • Proven experience leading organizational change in Inclusion and Diversity
      • Storyteller who can simplify the complex and drive clarity and consensus
      • Developed coaching and consulting skills within the I&D space
      • Strong communication and facilitation skills
      • Experience scaling global company-wide programs with multiple partners
      • Experience supporting a matrixed national organization with multiple divisions/locations across the country, global experience a plus
