Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager 1, will
be responsible for advancing the core technology in Embedded Coder
that enables automatic code generation from Simulink; enhancing and
re- architecting the code generator back-end; expanding the
capabilities of Embedded Coder to develop better customization of the
automatically generated code; participating in all aspects of the software
development life cycle; analyzing requirements, writing specifications,
coding, testing and collaborating with other teams; and mastering
numerous features in Simulink products and developing software for a
large code base. Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent)
in Engineering or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in job offered
or five (5) years of experience in development, testing, or technical
support of Simulink-based applications. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise writing unit tests in C++ for
Simulink- based applications. • Demonstrated expertise developing Embedded Code Generation Applications using C++, MATLAB, TLC, and graph-like data
structures; and in customization of auto-generated code from Simulink using
Simulink Coder and Embedded Coder. • Demonstrated expertise debugging large-scale systems for Controls System Design and Production Code Generation
Applications using GDB tool, MATLAB debugger, and TLC debugger. • Demonstrated expertise programming and debugging
