Job Description:
Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager 1, will
be responsible for creating new features in the area of
visualization of spectral content of signals; developing visualization tools and
user interfaces using MATLAB, JavaScript, C and C++; ensuring
high- performance by optimizing code and algorithms as needed;
implementing modern algorithms related to statistical signal processing and
spectral estimation; contributing to the development of our world-class
software tools for visualization and analysis of spectral content of
signals and related statistical signal information; enhancing our existing
user interfaces and developing the next-generation interfaces;
assisting in the growth of our company by targeting new platforms including
the web by implementing mechanisms for efficient logging of spectral
data. Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent)
in Engineering or Computer Science and no experience. OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in
Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in job offered
or five (5) years of experience designing visualization tools for
signal processing. Special Requirements: • Demonstrated expertise applying signal processing techniques
for efficient computation of high resolution spectral estimates of
audio and wireless communications; and designing tools for visualization
of spectral content of signals. • Demonstrated expertise building tools for digital filter
design, including multirate and multistage filters. • Demonstrated expertise in object oriented design and
analysis using MATLAB, C, and C++, including analyzing, re-architecting
and refactoring a large legacy code base. • Demonstrated expertise in visualization and UI development
