Job Description:

customer interaction. As an Industrial Electrician at WestRock,
you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing complex
electrical systems essential to our state-of-the-art manufacturing
processes. This position requires a detail-oriented, safety-focused
professional eager to drive continuous improvement and uphold the
highest standards of operational excellence in our dynamic
manufacturing environment. Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot,
and repair industrial electrical equipment and associated
electrical and electronic controls. Read and interpret drawings,
blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to
determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
Set up and operate tools used to maintain electrical components as
well as devices required for testing and modifying electronic
systems. Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to
schedule repairs and minimize machine downtime while maximizing
productivity. Adhere to all safety regulations, including
WestRock’s internal policies and external legal requirements,
particularly in hazardous environments. Assist in other areas of
plant maintenance and perform additional tasks as required.
Implement and suggest improvements for energy-saving techniques and
continuous improvement initiatives. Proficiency with electrical
diagnostic equipment, tools, and testing instruments. Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately with
intricate electrical systems. Excellent communication skills and
the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and

Master Electrician). Specific training or certification in
industrial electronics, PLC automation, or a related field is
highly preferred.
