Civil Engineer

A multidisciplinary Engineering Firm is looking for a Civil Design Engineer - licensed PE or EIT.

Due to explosive company growth and an exciting pipeling of upcoming projects, they would like to add add an experienced Civil Design Engineer to the team. Civil Engineer - Primary Functions:

• Plan and Design Civil and Site Development Projects, including site layout, grading stormwater management and utilities. Work with a multi-discipline team of architects, MEP, and structural engineers on a variety of projects including Higher Education, Retail, Commercial, Industrial, etc.
• Work closely with other technical staff to assist in providing consulting engineering services from state and private universities, national retailers, municipalities, architects, and local development clients.
• Work with other Civil Engineering teams within, including Municipal, Transportation, Water Resources, and Water/Wastewater projects.
• Interact daily with project teams in a multi-disciplinary and multi-office environment. Minimum Physical Requirements:
  • Exposure to occasional lifting and carrying. Civil Design Engineers will enjoy normal office working conditions and be required to sit and use a computer. Capable of traveling to and maneuvering around project sites for attending client and project meetings and site observations. Able to use various technical equipment for communication and documentation. Visual acuity necessary to perform responsibilities. Desired Education:
    • B.S or M.S in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) License.
    • Engineer in Training (EIT) with plans to sit for PE exam will also be considered. Desired Skills/Experience:
      • 3+ years of site development or general civil engineering experience.
      • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
      • Excellent computer and communication skills are a must! What we offer:
