Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.
Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be
considered. A full-time Special Education Teacher position is
available for the current school year in Hartford, CT. This
contract role supports PreK-4 grade students and requires a valid
Connecticut Special Education (SPED) license. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the diverse needs of
students with disabilities in grades PreK-4. - Develop and
implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration
with multidisciplinary teams. - Monitor student progress and adapt
teaching methods to support academic and social growth. - Maintain
compliance with state and federal regulations governing special
education services. - Communicate regularly with families, staff,
and administration to ensure optimal student support.
Qualifications and Experience: - Valid Connecticut SPED teaching
license is required. - Experience working with early childhood
through fourth-grade special education students. - Strong knowledge
of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment
tools. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. -
Ability to work full-time from ASAP through the end of the current
