Job Description Job Description Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1 years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in the Manchester, NH area is seeking a licensed Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing to provide specialized educational support for K-12 students. This part-time contract role requires servicing a caseload across two school sites, located between Brookline and Hollis. The assignment is scheduled to begin as soon as possible and will continue through June 17, 2026. Candidates must be able to work onsite with 10-12 hours per month dedicated to student instruction and related duties. Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing in grades K-12 - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs - Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to promote student success - Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation - Attend meetings and communicate with families and school personnel as needed Qualifications: - Active teaching licensure and certification for Deaf / Hard of Hearing in New Hampshire - Previous school-based experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing - Ability to service a diverse K-12 caseload across multiple school sites - Completion of district fingerprinting and background checks - Available for Zoom interview and onsite work at either the Brookline or Hollis location This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference within a K-12 community by supporting the unique educational needs of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
