Job Title:Sr Analyst HR Reporting
Work Location: Framingham, MA
Education/Experience Required:Bachelor's Degree
Senior Analyst, HR Reporting will focus on managing analytical
projects which will include the delivery of relevant and meaningful
operational information to assist with decision-making processes.
Overall, this position is responsible for providing analysis and
insight on key human capital topics to support the objectives of
the business and help increase the effectiveness of Staples HR
Additionally, this position will be responsible for working with HR
partners and management to increase their understanding of key
human resources metrics and how to use the data to drive the
Analytics:Responsible for managing analytical projects related to
human capital metrics and workforce analytics reporting.
Responsible for managing the process of gathering data from
multiple sources, cleaning, mining, analyzing, reporting and
presenting a broad set of human resource metrics and trends to HR
and business partners.
Manage Standard Reporting:Owns standardized HR Analytic reports for
client groups. Develop new and/or enhance current reports and tools
to help critical human resource data easier to understand and
Analytics Consultant:Provides ongoing consultation and serve as an
effective business partner to client groups. Serves as the primary
contact for all HR metrics (i.e., dashboards, scorecards, etc.) and
data for assigned client groups.Conducts ongoing needs assessment
with HR partners in the areas of key people metrics, scorecards and
benchmark studies. Works with HR and business to increase their
understanding & usage of key human resources metrics. Communicate
analysis results in a clear and concise manner to diverse audience.
Using subject matter expertise, strong analytical and
problem-solving skills, and influencing through compelling data
graphics, this role develops information that will be reviewed with
senior executives across Staples.
Skills & Qualifications :
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience;
Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Prior knowledge/experience with HR systems such as Peoplesoft,
Taleo, Oracle, Workday etc.
- Experience performing data extraction and report generation
- Experience in data visualization tools (Tableau and/or Power
BI) with technical experience in data manipulation/transformation
tools such as Alteryx and Excel
- Experience with data management, specifically with validating
and auditing data, and reports from multiple systems.
Strong story-telling skills, with ability take complex data and
translating it into a simple and logical narrative using data
collection, manipulation and transformation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root
cause drive towards a solution despite ambiguity or
- Excellent communication skills. Ability to build relationships
with business partners and assess needs of the business.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables
within tight time constraints
