Position Overview:The Senior Financial Compliance Analyst reports
to the Director of Accounting/Assistant Corporate Controller and
will take ownership of the financial reporting and regulatory
requirements for the companys $1B renewable energy asset portfolio.
The Sr. Financial Compliance Analyst will be the chief liaison
between the asset management group and the accounting and tax
groups. The Sr. Financial Compliance Analyst will have exposure to
transactional roles including updating deal models and assisting in
the execution of ongoing equity, debt and tax equity
financings.
Resposibilities:
Take ownership of all financial and regulatory reporting
requirements for Amerescos growing portfolio of Energy Assets;
Update operating reports, financial covenant reports, project
budgets;
Develop and implement a process to ensure all required compliance
milestones are met accurately and on a timely basis;
Track contract covenants and proactively recommend solutions for
projects that are not on track to achieve compliance;
Preparation of monthly withdrawal certificates to ensure accurate
principal and interest payments and cash distributions;
Preparation of all stand-alone project company financial
statements;
Organizing and reviewing the companys HLBV calculations;
Organize and update debt reconciliation tables;
Cash forecast reconciliations;
Become the daily point of contact with external investor and lender
compliance teams;
Reply to queries about projects from auditors and internal staff
regarding the projects;
Review operating data and complete analytic reports on project
performance; identify trends across the asset portfolio and develop
KPIs;
Other duties in support of project finance, asset management and
accounting as assigned;
Supervise junior investment analyst; and
Perform other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting.2+
years experience in Public Accounting, Legal, Asset Management or
related field.Proficiency with MS Excel and other MS Office suite
products.Experience reviewing and analyzing complex contract
documents to identify key deliverables and requirements.
Additional Qualifications:Must be detail-oriented with exceptional
organizational skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects
and priorities within a fast-paced environment.Must be able to work
independently.Work across many different functions including
finance, accounting, legal, operations.Excellent communication
skills, both verbal and written.Experience in the renewable energy
industry is beneficial but not required.
