  We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls. You will be an integral part of the team and will work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth functioning of the business.
  Responsibilities:
  • Manage the monthly close process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls by reviewing accounting policies and procedures, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fixed assets, including depreciation schedules and capital expenditures
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Assist with the annual budgeting process by providing financial analysis and recommendations
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support for business decisions
  • Manage the ERP system, including maintaining accurate data and ensuring the system is functioning properly
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
    • 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the Engineering industry
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
    • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented and organized
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
