Ready to Discover Different?Posting Notes: Framingham -- MAJob SummaryThe Tax Accountant for the Corporate Income Tax team assists in U.S. Federal, State and Local Income Tax compliance and tax related accounting.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare multi-state/multi-jurisdictional income tax returns.Prepare and process federal/state quarterly estimates and extensions.Assist in the coordination/preparation of the year-end tax provision in accordance with ASC 740.Identify and calculate book/tax differences.Research income tax issues and monitor changes in legislation to accurately plan and respond to changes in corporate tax laws.Reconcile tax accounts.Respond to tax authorities when needed.Provide support with the year-end close.Seek to participate with process improvements and/or implementations.Required Experience and Skills1+ years of direct corporate income tax experience (Form 1120, C Corps)Experience within a multi-state/multi-jurisdictional environment with complex tax requirementsProven understanding and application of accounting principlesAbility to work in a fast paced deadline driven environmentExcellent organizational, written and analytical skillsAbility to multi-taskStrong interpersonal/communication skillsStrong computer skills, including ExcelPreferred Experience and SkillsExperience with OneSource, Checkpoint, Oracle or Hyperion Financial ManagementEducationBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business concentrationMaster's degree in Accounting or Taxation is a plus, but not requiredCPA license is a plus, but not requiredCome Discover Different at TJX.
